It has been two years since my last posting in 2016. Why is it I feel the need to portray my thoughts onto paper rather than thinking things out of my head? With that, I have the urge to write and tell my stories.
There comes a point in my life when I realize how quickly time goes by, and how quickly it has gone. Particularly, today I felt that life and time goes by so quickly. With that, do you sense that life is speeding up the older you get, too? Moreover, some health challenges can come on simply because you get older.
My solo journey of overcoming uveitis marks the end of almost two years of treatment. I am feeling shocked and surprised when I went for my review today. It made me feel like I have recovered from this illness, but I am not my old self yet. I have had this mixed bag of emotions. In fact, it had taught me that I don’t need to figure out my whole life at once. I really thought I will be living with uveitis and having the risk of losing my vision. But, a life is not one that is answered in the future.
It was lovely to acknowledge that my life was a mess that is beyond what you can see and or even imagine. I only know what I’ve experienced. At times, no matter how much I wish to be standing on solid ground, I am standing in the marshlands between the worlds, hoping like hell to find the clue.
I have been walking into the grand unknown. It’s scary because anything can happen. It’s wonderful because, finally, anything can happen. Whatever I am going through… I am just one thought away from a miracle. It’s time to focus on all the steps to live my true desires!
Every act of love for yourself makes a difference.
